Take Aim at Workplace Stress

An article published by National Public Radio in July of 2016 talks about the effects of addressing stress in the workplace. NPR, along with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, conducted a poll on the Workplace and Health, which found that a substantial number of working adults say stress is a critical health issue they face at work. Steps companies are taking to address this include infusing wellness initiatives not just in terms of employee offerings like mediation and yoga classes, but into corporate policies & culture like workload management and paid time off.
